REGISTRATION: Each bobtail truck, semi-trailer, or other motor vehicle equipped with an LNG cargo container, and each trailer, semi-trailer, or other motor vehicle used principally for transporting LNG in portable containers, shall be registered with LP-Gas Operations. The non-refundable registration fee is $270* for each LNG bobtail, semi-trailer, portable container delivery unit, or other motor vehicle LNG cargo container not currently registered with LP-Gas Operations.
RE-REGISTRATION: A change in the name under which a licensee is doing business requires the re-registration of any vehicles under the new name prior to use of such vehicles for transporting or delivering LNG (Texas Natural Resources Code, Section 116.072). No fee is required for re-registrations.
TRANSFER: The transfer of ownership, partial or complete, or the transfer of other rights in motor vehicles hereby registered, requires the transfer of such vehicles in the name of the new owner/transferee with LP-Gas Operations prior to the use of such vehicles for transporting or delivering LNG. The transfer fee for a unit currently registered to another licensee is $100* per unit regardless of the water gallon capacity or time remaining on the license for the licensee to whom the unit was transferred.
NOTE: Vehicle registrations expire when the company license expires.
