PRIMARY LOGOTYPE
The MTV Logo ent irely is an art , and must be used as provided .
Wherever possible , our logo should be reproduced in the primary color .
MINIMUM SIZE
Mtv Brand should not be rendered under 1 .5 inches in width or 60 pix-els h igh for web appl icat ions.

Minimum Clear Space
The minimum clear space around the s ignature is equal to the X height of the Mtv Logo, mea-sured from dimple to d imple . To create the greatest impact , a l low 1/2 of x space around your s ignature. Do not a l low photos, typography, or other graphic e lements to enter the minimum clear space area.
SUPPORT LOGOTYPE
In black and white appl icat ions, the logotype canappear in grayscale or reversed-out white .
When the logo needs to be engraved or embossed,i t can appear in hair l ine .
When the logo needs to appear on a b lackbackground, the reversed-out color version canbe used.
The reversed-out d isplay logo can be used sparingly and independent ly from other e lements This is best used for large format d isplays such as s ignage.

LOGO DON’TS
The logotype should never be c loser to the edge of a document than i tsclearspace. The logo must be kept separate and dist inct from other e l-ements used in the same format and must never be used in a sentence. The logotype should never be reproport ioned or d istorted in any way.
In addit ion, do not add embel l ishments l ike drop-shadows, embossing, etc . to the logo.
