1. According to the young learners’ psychology, they are curious about all funny things, story telling is one of the good methods to arouse their interest and motivate them to study English enjoyably.

1. The activities should engage learners in tasks which are stimulating, problematic and achievable and try to push learners slightly beyond their existing knowledge.
2. The activities should be imaginative, creative and analytical and encourage learners to use and to develop their existing extra-linguistic knowledge.
3. The elementary level learner can often gain great confidence from making up a story, writing a short poem or making a grammatical discovery than she can from getting right a simple drill.
