Summary

Vignan’s Institute of information Technology has completed another successful year

in its endeavor to blend itself in the nation’s objective of “Skill India” through

Technological upliftment. It is a matter of pride that majority of the students who

have come from various backgrounds and communities have successfully pursued

their professional courses this year at the Institute and have gone on to either

become entrepreneurs or employees of multi-national companies or have moved on

to pursue their higher studies.

The process of training & monitoring has been significantly strengthened in the

academic year 2015-16 which has yielded good results and significantly higher and

better quality placements with good feedback from various companies. The

continued focus on research activities has resulted in increase in the number of

research papers published in conferences & journals. The number of papers

published in Scopus indexed journals has also risen significantly.

step”, Vignan’s Institute has taken a step in the journey of academic excellence

through quality dimensions. We at Vignan are excited about the prospects of

stakeholders in the journey to bring new colourful horizons. Further the excitement

for the potential this journey holds for us to strengthen the nation through supply of
