The developer aimed to transform the raw gutted Brooklyn loft into a comfortable home conducive to raising a family. Master Materials was involved in many aspects of the process including material application, fabrication, and installation, custom furniture fabrication, and custom artwork. One of the more noteworthy challenges for this particular project was the lack of lighting within the inner hallway of the residence. Master Materials came up with a creative solution that is both aesthetically pleasing and effective, the handmade resin doors transport light throughout the apartment. Master Materials also adapted the use of the space in order to fit in an office and library area by creating a two-tiered floating office, and a custom totem-style bookcase.
