Possible reasons our evangelistic efforts have not

met with success

• Jesus wants disciples who become like Him, and we are seeking “clones” of ourselves.

• Jesus wants disciples who have undergone a radical transformation, and we are content with “nice people.”

• Jesus wants disciples like Him who are religiously militant, aggressive, and revolutionary, and we are content with “meek and mild” individuals who are passive.

• Jesus wants disciples and we are

ill equipped to meet that need.
