MDESIGN® shaft 

 

 

The  dimensioning  and  calculation  of shafts  is  one  of  the  most  difficult tasks  for  the  constructer  in mechanical  engineering.  Because  of that  the  scientific  research  and international  institutes  of standardization have made efforts to offers  the  constructer  a  practical calculation  standard.  The  developed software  MDESIGN® shaft  is  a program  which  offers  the professional  user  a  lot  of  additional features.   

 Additional  input  options  and  a graphic  assistant  supports  the  user during  the  definition  of  the  shaft geometry  and  describing  the  loads. Because  of  the  easy  handling,  shaft shoulders  and  also  notch  geometry according to DIN 743, can position. 

MDESIGN® shaft  includes  a  lot  of additional functions:  considering  hollow  shafts  and conical shaft shoulders  no  limit of  the number of bearings and shaft shoulders  using non standardized data’s  standardized  definitions  and individual notch 

  considering double notches   calculation of critical bending speed  3D  representation  for  controlling inputs  extensive  graphical  display  of  the results  (stress,  bending  moments)
