THE POSITION
bpha is a major housing association operating between Oxford and Cambridge, based in Bedford. We are a leading provider and developer of affordable homes – for rent, sheltered, residential care and shared ownership. We own around 17,500 homes, employ 340 people, and had an annual turnover of over £100 million in 2014/15. Reporting to Technical Project Manager, this role will maintain and administer bpha’s reporting systems including creation and management of key performance and operational reports and reporting objects We are passionate about provide excellent customer service, if you are too then this could be the opportunity for you. Key responsibilities
• To work with colleagues in providing a support service to end users and managers to
resolve issues arising from use of the system
• The creation and management of key system objects including data dictionaries,
data models, mapping procedures and rules.
• To maintain up to date user guides and instruction books on use of the product.
• To provide advice on the use, configuration and operation of the reporting system.
• To develop and maintain key business reports including those required to meet
statutory and regulatory requirements.
About you
• Experience of creating report specifications
• SSRS & MS BI Suite
• Experience of Administration of multi-tiered reporting environment (D).
• Experience of working with KPI and Dashboard reporting.
• Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and interpret complex requirements
• Excellent SQL Scripting experience
• Ability to add value to processes and system use through rationalisation or
suggestion of improvements
THE TEAM
As part of the Technical team you will be reporting to the Technical Project Manager
within the IT department.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
SALARY
This salary range for this position is £30,000 – 35,000 per annum for working 37
hours per week.
Progression is assessed at an annual appraisal in April and increases may be awarded
strictly subject to your meeting specific performance objectives.
Salaries are normally paid by Bank or National Giro credit on the fifteenth of each
month, for the whole of that calendar month.
HOURS
This role is for 37 hours over 5 days. Hours to be agreed with your line manager.
WORK PLACE
You will be based from Bedford Heights, Bedford but will be required to travel to
other locations on a regular basis.

Probationary period
All posts have a six month probationary period and during this time performance
and conduct will be monitored. Your contract will explain how this works.

status and length of service.
NOTICE PERIOD
This post is subject to four weeks notice on either side, following successful
completion of a probationary period.
