Haskell Indian Nations University “Discover Haskell 2014”
Discover Haskell! We have been waiting for you! Our theme for orientation this year is “Discover Haskell”. Your guides for this discovery will be our Haskell Student Ambassadors. These young men and women are ready, willing, and able to help you make the transition to college. Aside from your personal belongings we ask that you bring the following to campus: 1). Positive attitude, 2.) Your leadership style, 3.) Sense of humor, and 4.) Respect.
Why is orientation important? Take a few moments and review the schedule of events for your first week at Haskell. Orientation activities, events, and programming are designed with you – the student –in mind. Our goal is to connect you with faculty and staff, provide information on our academic programs, and learn about the resources available to support your successful transition to Haskell.
We strongly encourage you to attend all events and activities as scheduled. The events and activities will assist and provide you with the resources, tools, and knowledge to support your success at Haskell. There are times open for you to explore the campus and Lawrence on your own and even make those last minute trips to purchase items for your room.
We look forward to meeting you in August!
