Mount Rushmore

Hello my name is Phineasand I will be your tour guide today on

your trip to mount Rushmore

This amazing monument was constructed in the year 1927 and took over 400 workers

to build it !

This colossal memorial covers 1,278.45 acres (5.17 km2) and is 5,725 feet (1,745 m) above sea level.

This sculpture that is carved into the granite face of mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota,

is of four of our founding fathers George Washington,

Thomas Jefferson,Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln
