National security is a term which covers both national defense and maintaining our way of life.
– Maintain Safety from Internal & External Threats: It refers to the protection of our nation from attack or other danger by holding adequate armed forces and take decisive action when threatened.
– Maintain Well-being: It also means to maintain our way of life through: economic security, monetary security, energy security, environmental security, military security, political security and security of energy and natural resources.
