Navigating InfoShare for Faculty
Getting to InfoShare Go to InfoShare.swic.edu. You will have to type this directly into the Address bar of your Internet
browser. This is a private site will not be found in a Google search.
If you are on campus and have already signed into your computer, you will automatically be logged in to
InfoShare by opening Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer.
If you are off campus, type infoshare.swic.edu in the address bar of your Internet browser. You will
reach the SWIC Employee Portal page and will need to log in from here.
Click the blue Login button
Enter your SWIC email address in the Username or ID field
Enter your SWIC Password in the Password field
InfoShare Home page Once logged into InfoShare, the home page offers some quick links and resources for staff.
Clicking the Blackboard icon will take you to your Blackboard account.
Use the Change Password icon if you need to change your SWIC password.
The Company Directory is where you can find any SWIC employee.
The SWIC Classes page is where you can find the Financial Aid eligible SWIC Certificates, Class Climate, Class Search,
College for Kids, Community Education registration and the Course Catalog.
The Employee Discounts page will show a list of discounts available to SWIC employees, such as AT&T, Dell, etc.
Employee Self Service is where you can update your personal information, enter Time, view Paycheck stubs and
more.
The Faculty Hub is a page set up for easy access to Faculty links, forms and Resources.
Fast Facts displays Institutional data used for reporting.
The Help page offers FAQs supplied by different departments.
Manager Self Service offers a place for Managers to view their Employee’s information, approve employee’s time, set
up alternate approvers and more.
Employee Email is link to employee email.
SWIC.edu is a link to swic.edu
SWIC Forms is where you will find SWIC forms from different departments
My SWIC Share page is for employees who have been shared information by a Student.
Work Order Request is used to request service from Physical Plant.
Most faculty items can be found on the Faculty Hub. To get there, click on the Faculty Hub icon.
On the Faculty Hub you will see tabs.
1. The Faculty Center tab has a link to your Faculty Center.
Click the Go To Your Faculty Center button to reach your Class Schedule, Rosters, etc. This is the
same Faculty Center that was available on eSTORM.
2. The Faculty Resources tab has documents and links available for Faculty. This includes handbooks,
My Reports (Enrollment Reports), links to the Faculty Development Workshop registration,
Outcomes Assessment, etc
3. The Faculty Forms tab is where you will find Faculty Forms. This includes Absentee forms, Course
Evaluations, Instructor Drop form, etc.
4. The Chair and Coordinator tab has resources needed for the Department Chair and Coordinators.
This content in this tab will only be available to Chairs, Coordinators, Deans and their admin
assistants. This includes ICCB forms, Budget and Purchasing items, Hiring and Staffing, etc.
To the right of the Faculty Hub page, you will find icons with links to Blackboard, Employee Email and
SWIC.edu and a Quick Links for Instruction section.
Under Quick Links for Instruction are links to other Instruction related department sites, as well as the
Division’s staff sites. You will only have access to the Staff site for your Division.
On the Instruction Site, you will find items provided by Instruction, including Curriculum Committee
Agendas and Minutes, ICCB Master lists, Lab fees, Program Review materials, Articulation
Agreements, etc.
On the Faculty Development site, you will find Opening Week materials and you can register for
Faculty Workshops on the Register for Faculty Workshops link. On the My Registered Workshops
page you can view the schedule for the workshop you have already registered for. You can also print
Certificates for the Workshops you have attended.
On the Faculty Technology site, you find information about Faculty Technology and the Resources
they provide.
On the Outcomes Assessment site, you can find information about Outcomes Assessment and a link
to the OS Forms Center to complete new OA forms or find your existing ones.
On the Success Center site, you can find information about the Success Center the services they can
provided your students.
