• Sensory Input– Transmit information

• Integration– CNS (central nervous system)
• Brain and nerve cord analyzes and interprets
• Motor Output– PNS (peripheral nervous system)
• carries information into and out of CNS
• Transmission triggers an activity or causes an effect such as muscle contraction
