What does Vaxjo bring to the cooperation – political support, green planning, vision?
• Experience and knowledge of the environment and energy development – improvement of energy management system – use of local energy resources – construction of small scale biomass district heating– establishment of continuous collection of energy
consumption data – improvement of the efficiency of water supply and
wastewater treatment and waste treatment– use local renewable sources in district heating and
combined production of electricity and heat, energy renovation plan of residential sector buildings,
– regional plan for the methanization of organic waste, – integrate energy into strategies of other sectors and
construction of new 100 % renewable energy neighborhoods
