VALLEY AND MESA
IRIS
The morning is Sunlight-rainlight. . . O morning of blowing rainbou:s! It glistens and sings Like a sea-shell Out of cool, curling waters.
THE FLOWERING ACACIA
Over the bending boughs Of the acacia Falls a show-er Of golden light, Shining Like the song of sun-rains.
OPHELIA ROSES
Out of the dawn Trembling with moon-mist The glow of a sun-gold rose! Wild as a wood-bird notc, Fragrant as crushed red wine.
