Objectives:1. To analyze current issues and challenges and the role of innovation in creating sustainable development
2. To discuss theoretical and applied research related to innovations in Management of Organization.
3. To assess the current state of knowledge and development of the discipline in theory and practice.
Indian corporate sector is changing due to changing government policies. In order to cope up with this changing corporate
scenario, systematic innovations have to play an important role. The State level seminar has been organized with the
objective of understanding the role of systematic innovations in this changing scenario. Innovations in the field of
Entrepreneurship, Finance, Advertising, HRM and Strategic Management are the need of the hour and will play a pivotal
role in the success of an enterprise in a long run. Researchers, Faculty members, Industry Delegates and students are
invited to contribute and brainstorm on the above ideas in this two days State level seminar.
About the Seminar:
The MIT group has grown by leaps and bounds with the sole objective of meeting the long felt need for a centre of
scientific and educational research, which would meet the challenges of the present and the future technical
advancements of the fast changing world, MIT Group of Institutions was established as a society and charitable trust.
Since then, the MIT Group of Institutions has grown leaps and bounds and has made a strong impact in the field of
education throughout the country. With more than 10 campuses in the state of Maharashtra covering almost 1000 acres
of area, the MIT Group provides education in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Marine Engineering,
Insurance, Distance Education, Telecom Management, Lighting, Design, Food & Technology, Retail Management, and
Masters in Business Administration, School of Government and also School Education. At any given point of time,
more than 50000 students are pursuing various courses spread all over sixty five institutes. With these statistics, the
MIT Group is almost a big University by itself. An initial step taken by a great visionary Dr. Vishwanath Karad, who
nurtured a strong conviction to provide the best of education to the society today, has resulted in a strong educational
realm. MIT Group today boasts of the best infrastructure facilities and application of varied teaching methodologies.
About MAEERs:
MITSOM College was established in the year 2004 under the aegis of Maharashtra Academy of
Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER), Pune. The principle objective of this college is to
provide undergraduate education in professional courses like Business Administration, International
Business and Computer Applications. All its courses are affiliated to University of Pune and approved by
the Govt. of Maharashtra. MITSOM College has a wide variety of academic and special interest groups
that are supervised either by the department or section heads or by the cultural committee formed by the
students. At the opening of the college, students have the opportunity to explore and express interest in
their chosen activities. From the beginning, the student is a part of the MITSOM Community impacting
class discussions, participating and leading in activities, and making new acquaintances. Students are a
constant source of innovation and MITSOM College encourages new student initiatives that further enrich
our experience.
