Mangan WoodsLocated on the southern Root River Parkway, Mangan Woods contains some of the largest old-growth hard-woods in the Park System. The standis found in the southwest corner of the site. Mature northern red oaks and sugar maples provide a dense canopy over prevalent ground flora,including a number of rare plant species. This park also provides birding opportunities.
