Parrot Bebop 2 Talon
Using a spring lock, The Parrot Bebop 2 Talon snaps closed around an item upon contact. It can also be
set to open with an integrated spring lock system. The talon is printed with minimal supports and light
post-print clean up, and it is easily assembled with readily available springs, screws, washers, and nuts.

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE:
STEP 1 – Take the pen spring and cut it down to ¼” length.
Using this newly modified spring, place it inside the inner
hole of part “Parrot Bebop 2 Upper Talon”. This spring acts
as the catch spring for the Talon assembly.
Step 2 – Place the part “Parrot Bebop 2
Lower Talon” inside its home slot on the
upper talon. While holding in place the
spring must be compressed slightly. Then
insert the part “Parrot Bebop Inner
Bushing” and an #8-32 x 1” screw through
the hinge hole. Secure in place by placing
a #8 washer and a tightening an #8-32 nut
(locknut or locktite with standard nut can
be used) onto the hinge screw
*Assembly tip* A light sanding and some
Bike chain (Teflon ) lube on the moving
parts particularly the Inner bushing piece
will help the system function better.
