•Keeps needle from moving while bobbin is filling

PRESSER FOOT•Holds fabric in place

REVERSE CONTROL

•Makes the machine sew backward

•(secures stitching)

SEAM GUIDES

•Measure distance from needle while sewing

SPOOL PIN•Holds spool of thread

SLIDE PLATE•Covers the bobbin case

STITCH LENGTH REGULATOR

•Controls the length of the stitches

•Should be on 2.5

STITCH WIDTH CONTROL

•Changes machine from straight stitch to zig-zag

TAKE-UP LEVER•Pulls thread off the spool

TENSION UNIT•Controls looseness or tightness of stitches

•Don’t change this!!
