All scales should beperformed with ametronome with the studentdemonstrating even ^.technique throughout the •scale.

Provide students withnames of composers ofvarious time periods. Eachstudent will write or give apower-point presentation ondetails of the composerslife, events surrounding hislife in history and politicalevents of the country thataffected the composer'swriting.
