FabricFabric yardage allows for four placemats. (Does not include fabric for runner. Please download the runner pattern for yardage needed.)
Preshrink all fabrics.Be sure the strips are cut exactly 10 ½" wide as this is the width of the tool.Additional yardage may be needed for directional prints.

Assembly• Place an A curve on top of a C melon.
The A should make a Smile. and the C should make a Frown.
• Match and pin the center points.• Bring the Smile corners down to the
Frown corners and match the edges.• Pin at each side.• Sew the curves together.• Sew an A Curve to each side of the melons.

Use 10 ½" x width strips. • Cut eight Simple Curve
pieces from Fabric A.

Cutting MelonsCut the Fabric C strips into four 10 ½" x 12 ¼" C strips. • Fold strip in half.• Align the Simple Curve tool to the side edges of fabric.• Cut along the bottom edge of the tool.
