• A record number of schools (581) applied to be recognized for their progress implementing PBIS during the 2010-11 school year…nearly 30% increase over last year.
• Early this fall, all schools will receive congratulatory letters from the Network, and some will also receive letters from ISBE’s Elizabeth Hanselman and Chris Koch.

• On August 2, the Network resubmitted an application for the federal Investing in Innovation Fund (i3) Grant under Priority 4: Innovations that Turn Around Persistently Low-performing Schools, titled “School-Wide Application Model (SAM) Illinois (SAM-IL)”.
