This is the shift↓ key.

It turns symbols upside-down, giving them a 180° turn, so a question-mark can be turned upside-down and a parentheses can close:

The shift, shift ↓ and alt gr keys select symbols shown at different positions on

the key.

Most shift characters ↓ are on the right-hand side of the keyboard.
