Pride in Our Past Volunteers proudly joined
the Plymouth Vigil Against Hate Crime, organised by Plymouth University Lesbian,Gay, Bisexual, and Trans group UP:LGBT.
Plymouth united with other cities across the UKwith a vigil held in London organised by theNational Union of Students (NUS). The vigil cameabout after the NUS published a report looking at
the impact of hate crimes and incidents in further and higher education.

The Exhibition Group has met for a second time, piecing together some very creative ideas around
themes and presentation.
We will also host a series of events around the exhibitionsuch as guest speakers, visual arts, music, film andperformance. Contact us via our website if you have any

The Pride in Our Past team were out in force, with the
Plymouth Pride Forum, at Plymouth’s 13th Annual RespectFestival on Sunday 30th October.
The event included live musical performances, stalls, workshops, informationstands, food and many more activities. Our stand gave us the opportunity tospread the word about the Pride in Our Past project to visitors to the event alongwith other organisations who were participating.

Workshop: Thursday 10th November 7pmPride in Our Past has collaborated with creator, Joseph Mercier,to facilitate a special workshop which will consider how gay menhave met and seduced each other from the 1960s until thepresent day. Being held at the Barbican Theatre Studio, at 7pmon Thursday 10th November, this hour long workshop invitesparticipants to consider and discuss the interactions that occur between gay men to signify both their orientations and their intentions.
