THE BASICSGENERAL UNIVERSITY
DESIGN PLATES & FREELANCE WORKS
06University life was really the basics. Manual drawings and manual renderings were encouraged. This soft touch and old school style together with the wide range of design problems forms the basic foundation in training and cultivating a critical mind for landscape design.
GENERAL UNIVERSITY DESIGH PLATESTHE BASICS
06Community Spaces
Soon, an agressive take on the passion for recreating spaces, freelance works naturally came. It was both an opportunity to express the basic foundations learned in the university and to also teach the clients the difference of a landscape architect from a gardener. Although most of the freelance works were residential in nature, it was the basic unit of space that a landscape architect must know.
GENERAL UNIVERSITY DESIGH PLATESTHE BASICS
06Residential
Peripheral areas of interest were also explore - Sketching and 3D modeling. Although in the industry today, 3D modeling is the norm in the way of presentation of concepts, sketching will remain to be the most efficient way of communicating ideas. And cultivation of both are basic essentials, for without the meduim, ideas will just stay as fictions of the mind.
