Jesus brought the feeling of compassion into the mindset of

    the people.

He treats the world as his friend.

Jesus sympathises with all the classes, the rich and the poor,

the learned and the ignorant, the happy and the sad.

Unless you become as little children, you shall not be able

to enter the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

Moreover Jesus shows sympathy for women.

Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you.

Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Impact: How did the life of Jesus impact the

    world?

Nobody has changed the world the way Jesus has.

People who encounter the risen Christ are totally

transformed. Their outlook on life is altered forever.

Staying true to their faith, they do not hesitate to face

    hardship, persecution and even death.

Many devote their lives to serving others, minimizing

    their own needs and desires.

Jesus never said "give me all" or "give thegovernment all" He said for you to "give all" or "sellall

Jesus led by example, not by force. IF you believe inGod, you have to believe we were put here for areason, what do you think that reason is?

Each person has to learn this on their own. Whenyou take away a person's choice to do good on hisown, you take away their ability to learn what he wasput here to learn.

Every being that lived upon the earth initially had a SPIRITBODY and that all were born to Heavenly Parents in a PREMORTAL EXISTENCE

Families may be sealed"meaning that they areeternally bound as husbandwife, parents childandthat these bonds will continue after death.

The sinless nature of Jesus Christ involves two elements.First, Christ was free ofactual sin. Studying the gospelsthere is no reference to Jesus praying for the forgivenessof sin, nor confessing sin. The assertion is that Jesus didnot commit sin, nor could he be proven guilty of sin.

Jesus Christ, the Mediator of humankind, fulfills the threeoffices of Prophet, Priest, and King. which during theReformation played a substantial role.

Conviction of sin:- The Holy Spirit acts to convince the unredeemed person

both of the sinfulness of their actions, and of their moral standing as sinners

    before God.

Bringing to conversion:- The action of the Holy Spirit is seen as an essential

part of the bringing of the person to the Christian faith. The new believer is

    "born again of the Spirit".

Enabling the Christian life:- The Holy Spirit is believed to dwell in theindividual believers and enable them to live a righteous and faithful life.

As a comforter one who intercedes, or supports or acts as an advocate,

    particularly in times of trial.

Inspiration and interpretation of scripture:- The Holy Spirit both inspires the

writing of the scriptures and interprets them to the Christian and/or church

Empowerment of his ministry:- The ministry of Jesus following his baptism

(in which the Holy Spirit is described in the gospels as "descending on Him

like a dove") is conducted in the power and at the direction of the Holy

    Spirit.

JESUS: GOD THE FATHER God is addressed as the father

  • 8/4/2019 Presentation Jesus Christ

    23/27

    JESUS:-GOD THE FATHER-

God is addressed as the father,

in part because of his active interest in human affairs, in the way

that a father would take an interest in his children who are

dependent on him and as a father, he will respond to humanity,

his children, acting in their best interests.TEMPTED CHRIST:- He experienced all the frail weaknesses

of humanity. Jesus was tempted through hunger and thirst, pain

and the love of his friends. Thus, the human weaknesses could

engender temptation. The temptations Christ faced focused upon

his person and identity as the incarnate Son of God.Christ could

    be tempted through his sonship.

ATTRIBUTES OF JESUS CHRIST:- The communion of

attributes Christ divine and human nature existed together with

not overriding each other. Christ was not half-God and half-human. they acted in complete accord; when one nature acted,

so did the other. The natures did not commingle, merge, infuse

each other, or replace each other. One was not converted into

    the other. They remained distinct.

    DEMERITS

    Perception based Demerits

  • 8/4/2019 Presentation Jesus Christ

    25/27

Demerits are not of Christ but of the changing generations revaluating the

sayings keeping in view the modern world.

    Relativitism

Is a new pervading western society that questions the

nature of truth and makes one feel guilty of believing what is believed for

    centuries.

Excusivism- Position that maintains Christ as the savoir of the world and

other religions largely as zones of darkness.

Inclusivism- To view up holding Christ as the savoir of humanity but also

affirming gods saving presence in the wider world and other religions.

Restrictivism- restricts hope to people who have put their faith in Jesus

    Christ in the earth.

Pluralism- The position that denies the finality of Jesus Christ and

maintains that other religions are equally valid paths to god.
