G.M.Momin Scholars Academy:
The idea to involve students in mini research projects under research mentor teachers was put into action
and inaugurated in last January. Since then over 200 students have presented their research papers and
posters at various regional, national and International conferences, seminars and competitions. The
overwhelming result was obvious when 42 teams participated in district level rounds of Avishkar Research
Convention and 3 teams were selected for the University final round. 80-100 posters, oral papers, projects
and science models are presented by students as part of the National Science Day celebration every year.
This National Science Day 2018 saw Ms. Raisa Shaikh, a final year pharmacy student and winner of Gold
Medal in Avishkar Inter- University Research Convention as our chief guest to motivate our students.

Vision: From here on we dream and plan to take our college to still greater heights of success and recognitions, without losing essence of the personal touch that we offer. We dream of the great multitude of schemes which when
put into operation at the appropriate times would elevate this sacred institution to loftier levels of learning, recognition
and understanding. I am proud to see and hear that this premier institute of higher learning, exclusively for women, has become a landmark of Bhiwandi and surrounding areas; having already carved out its niche at the National level,
our dream is to take this institution still higher to International levels of recognition. Let us work together for a better tomorrow.
`Concluding Remarks: Before closing this report I would like to thank the organizing committee for today’s function
and all those who have contributed towards success of the event. I am also ever thankful to my entire team of dedicated teachers, non teaching staff and students.
Allah Hafiz, May God bless you and Thank You very much for your kind attention.
