OverviewThe Islamic Finance Conference will be convened in Washington, D.C. It is the epicenter of
political world and home of many S&P 500 Companies.
The Conference will be held at Ronald Reagan Trade Center on November 4, 2013, bearing
theme Islamic Finance: An Undiscovered Market in the United States. The Conference w
expand the global growth of Islamic Finance and new market opportunities in the United Stat
Globally, Islamic Finance has grown into a $1.5T asset managed investment and $2T of plann
and anticipated infrastructure projects. Islamic nance is an alternative nancial instrument
tegrated with strong socially responsible component to yield healthy funding mechanism. Tconference would create an avenue for engagement with key nancial market players and p
motion innovative nancial instruments in the UnitedStates.

MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC FINANCIAL CENTER (MIFC)The Malaysia International Islamic Financial Centre (MIFC) initiative was launched
develop Malaysia as the international hub of Islamic nance.
MIFC initiative was introduced 2006 to support this objective of promoting international bu
nesses in Islamic nance and for global community to leverage on Malaysia's capabilities a
expertise in Islamic nance in their nancial and business activities such as fund raising a
investment.
The MIFC initiative comprises a community network of the countrys nancial sector regulato
including Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), Securities Commission Malays
Labuan Financial Services Authority and Bursa Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchang
Government ministries and agencies together with industry participation from the banki
takaful, re-takaful, capital market institutions, human capital development institutions and p
fessional ancillary services companies which are participating and working collaboratively
Islamic nance.

INCEIFINCEIF is the acronym for International Centre for Education in Islamic
Finance. It was set up by Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia )
in December 2005 to meet this global demand. The university was established as part of the
Malaysian Governments initiative to further strengthens the countrys position as an inter-
national Islamic nance center and develops human capital for the global Islamic nance
industry. It is the only university in the world that is wholly dedicated to postgraduate study in
Islamic Finance.
Along with its dedicated Islamic nance academic programs, INCEIF offers executive educa-
tion, research, consulting and knowledge management services which are in line with its vision
to be a knowledge leader in Islamic nance.
