Evergreen 25 staff attended this trainings. The District Office hosted training for all noon duty staff. This 2 hour training was attended by 27 staff. Quimby MS continues to use their Passport curriculum based on the developmental assets with all students.

School District: Lakeside Joint School District Year: 2014-2015 Quarter:Q1 and Q2 LCAP/LCFF Priorities: School Climate and Parent Engagement
Parent Engagement 9 parents are volunteering through the ABC program and impacting 112 students. The ABC lead volunteer has received support from Project Cornerstone’s staff to implement the program and attends the monthly training meetings hosted by Project Cornerstone. The training meeting is a review of the book and lesson from the previous month as well as preparation for the upcoming book and lesson. The monthly meeting is designed to be a “train the trainer” model enabling the ABC lead to return to the school site and train the ABC readers for the book of the month. Each of the parent volunteers puts approximately 3 hours per month to train, prepare, and deliver the lesson per class.

Fisher Middle School hosted a 6 week Take It Personally workshops. Lexington hosted a 90 minute parent training for potential fun visor volunteers. 51 parents participated in these trainings.

A presentation was given at a Principal’s Coffee on 8/28/14 about asset building to several hundred parents. 6 week Take It Personally parent workshop held 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14 for 7 parents.
A 2 hour Building Assets in Your School Community training took place on 8/25/14 for 25 staff members.

There are 10 parent volunteers in the
ABC program at Old Orchard. These parents are volunteering approximately
30 hours each month and impacting approximately 140 students.
The ABC lead volunteer has received
support from Project Cornerstone’s staff
to implement the program and attends the monthly training meetings hosted by
Project Cornerstone. The training meeting is a review of the book and
lesson from the previous month as well as preparation for the upcoming book
and lesson. The monthly meeting is designed to be a “train the trainer”
model enabling the ABC lead to return to the school site and train the ABC readers
for the book of the month. Each of the parent volunteers puts approximately 3
