29:46 (Asad) And do not argue with the followers of earlier revelation otherwise than in a most kindly manner - unless it
be such of them as are bent on evildoing and say: “We believe in that which has been bestowed from on high upon
us, as well as that which has been bestowed upon you: or our God and your God is one and the same, and it is unto
Him that We [all] surrender ourselves.”

3:19 (Y. Ali) The Religion before Allah is
Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the
People of the Book dissent there from
except through envy of each other, after
knowledge had come to them. But if any deny
the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling
to account.

3:26 (Y. Ali) Say: "O Allah. Lord of Power
(And Rule), Thou gives power to whom Thou
pleases, and Thou stripes off power from whom Thou pleases:
Thou endues with honor whom Thou pleases, and Thou
brings low whom Thou pleases: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power.

3:64 (Asad) Say: "O followers of earlier revelation! Come
unto that tenet which we and you hold in common: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall not ascribe divinity to aught beside Him,
and that we shall not take human beings for our Lords beside God." And if they turn away, then say: "Bear witness that it is we who have surren-dered ourselves unto Him."

20:105 (Y. Ali) They ask thee concerning the Mountains: say, "My Lord will uproot them and scatter them as dust.
73:14 (Y. Ali) One Day the earth and the mountains will be in violent commotion. And
the mountains will be as a heap of sand poured out and flowing down.
78:20 (Y. Ali) And the mountains shall vanish, as if they were a mirage.

"When My servants ask about Me, I am indeed close to them. I listen to the prayer of every supplicant, when he calls on Me. Let them also, with a will, listen to My call,
and believe in Me, so that they may walk in the right way" (Qur'an 2:186).

2:109 (Asad) Out of their selfish envy, many among the followers of earlier revelation would like to bring you back to denying the truth after you have attained to faith - [even] after the truth has become clear unto them. None the less, forgive and forbear, until God shall make manifest
His will: behold, God has the power to will anything.

2:137 (Asad) And if [others] come to believe in the way you believe, they will in-deed find themselves on the right path; and if they turn away, it is but they who will
be deeply in the wrong, and God will protect thee from them: for He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing.
2:136 (Asad) Say: "We believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon us, and that which has been bestowed upon Abraham and Ishmael
and Isaac and Jacob and ,their descendants, and that which has been vouchsafed to Moses and Jesus; and that which has been vouchsafed to all the [other] proph-ets by their Sustainer: we make no distinction between any of them. And it is unto
Him that we surrender ourselves."

56:63 (Asad) Have you ever considered the seed which you cast upon the soil?
56:64 (Asad) Is it you who cause it to grow - or are We the cause of its growth?
6:99 (Asad) And He it is who has caused waters to come down from the sky; and by this means have We brought forth all living growth, and out of this have We
brought forth verdure. Out of this do We bring forth close-growing grain; and out of the spathes of the palm tree, dates in thick clusters; and gardens of vines, and the olive tree, and the pomegranate: [all] so alike, and yet so different! Behold their fruit when it comes to fruition and ripens! Verily, in all this there are mes-
sages indeed for people who will believe!

3:79 (Asad) It is not conceivable that a human being unto whom God had granted revelation, and sound judgment, and prophet hood, should
thereafter have said unto people, "Worship me beside God"; but rather [did he exhort them], "Become men of God by spreading the knowledge
of the divine writ, and by your own deep study [thereof]."
