Principal’s Report: I.N.O.K.T.B.A.:
To celebrate fantastic student
attendance this year there will
be two free excursions to the
Mildura Aqua Coaster next
Tuesday. Students with 96%
attendance or better for the
year will soon receive
invitations to attend.
Students in P-3 will depart at
10.00am. Students in grades
4-6 will depart at 11.00am.
In all a total of 88 students
qualified for this free
excursion.
I again apologise to those
students who missed out by
only one or two days, and to
those students who were away
for genuine reasons, but I can
make no exceptions to the rule.
Crazy Hair Day:
Our year 6 students are
conducting a Crazy Hair Day
next Wednesday. Cost to
participate is a gold coin
donation. All proceeds go to
purchasing the annual grade 6
gift to the school. This year the
students hope to purchase a
large ornamental tree.
No Sausage Sizzle:
There is no Sausage Sizzle
next Wednesday. There will be
a sausage sizzle at the pool on
Thursday. Sausage Sizzle
order forms were sent home
with today’s Newsletter.
School Concert:
The Red Cliffs Primary School
Concert will be held on
Monday 14th December.
A barbecue tea will be
available from approximately
5.45pm.
Our concert will commence
with formal announcements at
7.00pm.
Parents are asked to ensure
their children wear the
following outfits for the
concert:
Prep H—“Party” clothes
P/1G— Black/blue shorts.
Plain red/green/white T-
shirt (or Christmas shirt)
1/2V– Coloured shorts and T-
shirt
2K—Black shorts and singlet
top
3/4D—Beach wear
3/4L—Black shorts or leggings
T-shirt provided
4/5C—Boys– black/denim
shorts (T-Shirt provided)
5/6A—Boys– dressy long
pants, plain black T-shirt
Girls– Black leggings
(T-shirt provided)
5/6W—Boys and girls—black
shorts (T-shirts provided)
Aussie of the Month:
Congratulations to Michaela
Bennett – Red Cliffs Primary
School’s Aussie of the Month for
November. Michaela always puts
in 100% effort. She is friendly to
all students. Michaela is always
prepared to help wherever
needed. Well done Michaela!
Swimming Carnival: The 2015 Red Cliffs Primary
School Swimming Carnival will
be held next Thursday, 17th
December, weather permitting.
Students will walk to the pool
departing from school at
approximately 9.15am. We will
be leaving the pool at around
1.30pm. to return to school.
Students will only be able to
remain at the pool if parents are
in attendance.
Admission fees will be payable
for those children and parents
remaining after 1.30pm.
There is no cost to participate in
the Swimming Carnival.
Reports:
Communication books and
student reports will be sent home
this Friday. Parents may wish to
collect their children after school
as many will be carrying wet
swimming clothes as well...

Special Religious Instruction:
After a very long history, Christian Special Religious
Instruction classes in State Primary Schools in the Red
Cliffs area will cease at the end of this school year, as
lessons are no longer permitted to be taught in class
time. Your child’s religious instruction will now only
be provided out of school hours and will be available
in the churches in Red Cliffs.
Christian programs available for primary school
children are: After school once a week: The Salva-
tion Army (Tues) and Church of Christ (Wed) and
Holiday Program in January: At the Church of Christ,
see flyer.
Bible story books have been donated to the school
library and are available for the children to borrow.

Tennis:
Red Cliffs Lawn Tennis Club is pleased to offer the
Tennis Australia ANZ Hot Shots Program in 2016.
Beginning Term 1 on a Tuesday from 2.2.16
Red Ball - 5 - 8 y.o. Term 1 Lessons x 8 {$48} 4:00 -
4:30pm.
Orange Ball- 8 - 10 y.o. Term 1 Lessons x 8 {$64} 4:30 -
5:15pm.
Green Ball- 9 + y.o. Term 1 Lessons x 8 {$80} 5:15 -
6:15pm.
Hot Shots is an introduction to tennis using modified balls,
nets and racquets. Racquets will be available if your child
doesn't have one. Juniors will be able to register with
Tennis Australia and receive a free Hot Shots T-shirt
along with other special promotions.
