• This is to be used only by trained professionals.• Not for belay or fall arrest.• This product is a type II system and may only be used for work positioning. • This device is not to be used directly on wire rope or steel cable.• Correct locking action is dependent on proper orientation of the rope grab. The arrow on the housing of

the rope grab must point away from operator.• While on the ground, check to be sure that the rope grab will not slide back towards operator. When slack

is removed from cam, the rope grab should only slide in the direction indicated by the arrow on the rope grab housing.

• Never use near electrical lines or anything that can conduct electricity. Never use if there is a risk of lightning.

• Never use this as your sole life support. You must always be attached by two different systems at all times!• Always inspect your rope grab for proper installation and operations before every climb!• You must also have your Climb Right Rope Grab inspected by someone other than yourself who is quali-

fied to inspect this type of gear a minimum of twice a year.• You must retire your rope grab if it is not fit for service, or if it is two years old from the first date of use,

whichever comes first.• The Climb Right Rope Grab must never be modified! Doing so can compromise the integrity of the Rope

Grab and may result in a failure which can lead to injury or death.• Only use industry approved methods for using this equipment.• Retire immediately after shock loading as this can affect the integrity and strength of the rope grab.• Check aluminum housing and cam for any cracks, deformity, corrosion, wear, ETC. If any of these condi-

tions are present, immediately retire rope grab from service.• Check the rope grab cam teeth to make sure they are not clogged with dirt, debris, grime, or anything that

might affect the proper function of the rope grab. If it cannot be cleaned or cleared, retire rope grab from service.

• Double check rope grab to make sure cam can move freely without getting stuck or jammed. Make sure internal spring promptly places tension back onto the rope. If the spring is no longer working, you might have to replace it. If it is replaced with a new spring and still does not function properly, remove rope grab from service.

• Make sure the removable pin is locked into place.• Only use with compatible equipment and components.**Rated for a Safe Working Load Limit (WLL) of 350 lbs when fully equipped.
