Proyecto: “Reserva-Ciudad Madrid”
(Línea 3 y 6 to Legazpi, autobus 6, 8, 18, 19, 45, 78 y 148.

Project: “City Reservoir Madrid”
Following a straight line through the center of Madrid from Bilbao to Legazpi, a tourist will contin-ue on without encountering any of the traditional urban and cultur-al monuments. “City-Reservoir” is a lagoon within the middle of the city. The monuments stay on the two sides of the reservoir: on the left-hand side, the “Palacio Real”; on the right-hand side, the “Paseo del Prado” and the “Retiro.” This line connects all the popular ‘pla-zas’ within the area: “Plaza Dos de Mayo,” the “Plaza de Chueca,” “The Sevilla Plaza,” the “Plaza de Santa Ana,” “Plaza Lavapies,” and reaches to “Plaza de Lepazpi.”“Madrid Matadero” in Legazpi –once the ‘meatpacking’ district of Ma-drid, is now an art center. Spe-cial walks to the “City Reservoir” depart from the Matadero, Tues-Sun, 4-10 pm. October 1st to 29. (Sub-way to Legazpi, line 3, bus 6, 8, 18, 19, 45, 78 y 148)
