Richard M. Rainwater Pendergrass

Richard Morris Rainwater, 70, of 1495 Mountain Creek Drive, diedThursday, Aug. 26, 1999. A native of DeKalb County, Mr. Rainwater was a son of the late MinorH. and Carrie Lewis Rainwater and was the widower of Lessie Jean Freeman Rainwater. He was a retired carpenter and was a U.S. Army veteran. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Evans Funeral Home with Dr.Gerald Mitton officiating. Burial will be in Pendergrass Cemetery. Survivors include three sons, Phillip Rainwater, Pendergrass, TimRainwater, Jefferson, and Terry Rainwater, Macon; three sisters, Ollie Boyd, Talmo, Miss., Elizabeth Stubbs, McDonough, and Helen Patton, Chestnut Mountain; two brothers, James Rainwater, Oakwood, and Ronnie Rainwater, Gainesville; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Clark Rainwater, Mike Rainwater, Doug Rainwater,Scott Rainwater, David Prittchett, Gary Morgan, Brian Rainwater and Kyle Rainwater.
