D E S I G N I N T E N TFrom the perspect ive of landscape character , v i sua l amen i ty and u rbandes ign , the landscape master p lan incorporates a number of cons iderat ionsand e lements to ensure the proposal s i ts wel l with in the ex ist ing res ident ia lenv i ronment and contr ibutes pos i t ive ly to the sur rounding community ofInvercargi l l .

With in the proposal , a w ide range of communal pass ive and act iverecreat ional spaces are prov ided inc lud ing courtyard seat ing areas,g a r d e n s , o p e n l a w n s , b i rd feeders, ar t areas, ra i sed garden beds , waterfeatures and vegetable gardens . These spaces a lso prov ide seat ing forrest ing, re lax ing, contemplat ion and catch ing up wi th f r iends and fami ly .Part icu lar attent ion has been g iven to the des ign and detai l ing, tosubstant ia l ly increase the ons i te amenity of the landscape for both internaland external users , whi le prov id ing res ident ia l character with in the gardenb e d s . Communal and pr ivate pat ios are prov ided to cater for the mixed useof the deve lopment .

The purpose is to prov ide a safe env i ronment where res idents can interactand roam f ree ly wh i l s t encouraging engaging connect ions w i th the i rne ighbours and env i ronment .
