The Society of Software Engineering,
Delhi Technological University (SSE-
DTU) is organized for the engineers and
the researchers in the software
engineering discipline. The aim of SSE-
DTU is to regularly organize
conferences, workshops and technical
fests in software engineering related
advances and research.
SSE-DTU serves as a forum for
networking, information sharing, idea
exchange and problem solving for the
software engineering community.
The purpose of SSE-DTU is to:
Promote the development of advanced software engineering
techniques, formalisms, and
approaches.
Encourage research and development .
Encourage interchange of ideas among software engineers and
researchers.

About the Institution Important Dates Workshop Objective
Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi
College of Engineering) was upgraded by the
Government of NCT of Delhi in year 2009. It
has 68 years of tradition of excellence in
Engineering & Technology Education,
Research, & Innovations, initially established
with the name of Delhi Polytechnic, came in
to existence in the year 1941 to cater the
needs of Indian industries for trained technical
manpower with practical experience & sound
theoretical knowledge. In 1952 the college
was affiliated to Delhi University and started
degree level programmes. DCE is the mother
institution of a number of national institutes
including IITD, SPA, College of Art and even
the famous FMS.
Till 1962 college was under the direct control
of ministry of Education, Government of India.
In 1963, the administration of the college was
handed over to Delhi Administration. DCE
(Now DTU) has functioned from its historic
Kashmere Gate Campus for almost 55 years
& has shifted in 1996 to its lush green
sprawling present new campus of 164 Acres.
Its shifting to new campus has added the
dimension of research & caused innovations
in plenty, which has brought high national &
international acclaim.

Delhi Technological University
(Formerly DCE) is located at Bawana
Road, Adjoining Sector-17, Rohini
Delhi-110042. The nearest metro
station is Rithala, Approximately 4KM
away from the University.

Fee for Workshop
Fee for attending workshop is Rs 1500/-
for Teaching/ Industry personnel/
students/ Research Scholars in the form
of Demand Draft in favour of Society of Software Engineering, DTU, payable at Delhi.

The workshop focuses on the practical
and research oriented aspects of
software engineering. The participants
will be able to learn and apply a

engineering. The workshop is a blend of
