Samuel M. Mati holds a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Africa International University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in statistics from Kenyatta University, a Facilitator Certification from ICTHUS College and a Certificate in the Management of Development Programmes from IRMA India. He also has certificates in Designing, Monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects, Sustainable/Transformed Livelihoods Approaches, Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction (CMDRR), HIV and AIDS Programming and Risk based approaches.

for World Vision Kenya Pwani Zone and corresponding establishment of the CCB unit at the zone in 2005.

of children, follow up, processing child replies, Annual child Reports and developing programs for child health and education.
o Facilitated building of the capacities of over 60 CBOs on governance, financial management and fundraising and supported in linking key CBOs to external funding sources.
o Built the capacities of staff and CBO coordinators through which over 15 CBOs transformed to become credible local NGOs.
o Facilitated the funding of these CBOs to a tune of Kshs 7 million per year each to enable them implement planned development interventions.
o Supported a Women Water Users Association in the implementation and completion of a 74 Kilometer Women Water Project costing over Kshs. 89 Million.
