Scanning slides & negativescolour and black & white
1000 - 1200Friday 24 Jul, 2020
This workshop will be using Zoom as the meeting room.
The presenter is Danny O’Neill, who will be using the Vuescan and Silverfast SE 8 scanning software, with a brief look at Epsonscan Professional. You will need either
a dedicated film scanner, or a flatbed scanner with film capability. This will be a collaborative workshop, in that everyone will be helping each other where possible.
You can of course use the software that came with your scanner, but you will need to have a reasonable grasp on how to use it, as Danny or other attendees may not be
familiar with your software.
This workshop will be a continuation of the Scanning photographs 1008 workshop, and designed for users with a good understanding of the basics covered in that course.
Batch scanning will be included; filing the different scanned images; and cleaning up your scans in a photo editor. Registered attendees will be given a guide on how to
roughly calibrate your monitor one week before the workshop, so please book early.
Cost: $30 for HAGSOC members, $40 for non-members.Bookings: Register on the Courses page at familyhistoryact.org.auQuestions? Contact Danny directly at [email protected]
