Brendan and Sheila Hade will be back incourt on Tuesday when the receivers will beattempting to get a temporary injunctionagainst them made permanent.

Receivers were locked out of theVictory buildings until Brendan, Sheila,Brian and Niall Hade were all taken tocourt and had to promise not to interfere.

One insider said: “It [the injuction] willcost them €20,000 to get the ball rollingand a High Court challenge can soonjump to €100,000.

“Who will be paying for that? I imagineSunday’s donations will be going straightto paying the lawyers.”

Victory was left to pick up the bill for aprevious court action involving theHades and Gerry Byrne.

The three trustees claimed PortlickCastle in Glasson, Co Westmeath, waspart of Victory’s assets when taking outloans from the Bank of Scotland.

But Victory never owned it. Only a

deposit was ever paid but Niall Hade stillsquatted in it for several years, leasing itout for weddings.

After castle owners Portlick GlassonLtd took legal action to evict them, theHades agreed in 2011 to pay €450,000damages and forfeited the €240,000deposit. But they used the Victory charityto settle the bill.

ArrogantThe Sunday World spoke to several cred-

itors who claim they were never paid forgoods or services supplied to the castle.

“That’s the problem with the Hades. They are so arrogant they feel they don’thave to pay their bills,” said one. “If yougo up to their house they will threatenyou with the gardai for hassling them.”

Brendan and Sheila Hade recentlyclaimed they never took a penny offVictory and lived off incomes from theirown businesses.
