It was a cold and silent night. The weather was freezing. A group of monkeys

were on a tree. They were clinging to its branches. One of the monkeys said, “Iwish we could nd some re. It will help us to keep warm!.

"uddenly they noticed a #ock of re#ies. One of the young monkeys thought it

was re.

$e caught a re#y. $e put it under a dry leaf and started blowing at it.

"ome other monkeys also %oined in his e&ort.

A sparrow came #ying to its nest. The monkeys were sitting on the same tree. "he noticed what they were doing. The sparrow

laughed. "he said, “$ey silly monkeys that is a re#y, not real re!.

The sparrow continued' “I think all of you should take shelter in a ca(e!. The monkeys did not listen to the sparrow. They

continued to blow at our po or re#y.

After some time the monkeys became (ery tired. )ow they realized what the sparrow had said was correct.

They set free the re#y and mo(ed to a nearby ca(e.
