Simulation of Hazards and Risks -
Experience Accidents Safely!
Safety Experience Training
ABOUT US
Youngwoo Ind. is a South Korean company founded in 1999 near Seoul. Originally specializing in safety signs, Youngwoo Ind. has focused and developed in recent years in modules for the simulation of occupational safety risks
and hazards. Youngwoo is Korean and freely translated means "lifelong friendship". This meaning reflects our business conduct and our Trademark to customers worldwide.
Youngwoo Ind. has specialized in the development of safety simulation technologies for effective accident prevention. The main difference to conventional classroom theory training or virtual reality animation is that the
workers experience the possible hazards by themselves.
You don't want to watch a PowerPoint slide or a video of a roller coaster ride, but rather sit in the car and experience the ride yourself. This is what you will remember for a long time. We apply this principle in our training modules.
What we do
Why?
According to Edgar Dale we have a passive and active perception. On average we retain about 10% of a written text, about 20% of what we record acoustically, about 30% of what we see, about 50% of what we see and hear in
combination, about 70% of what we tell ourselves and 90% of what we tell and really do. So the question arises why a considerable part of the security training from reading from mostly overloaded PowerPoint slides still takes place in
a "boring" training room.
Business Areas
Youngwoo Ind. has 4 classic business areas of occupational safety simulators:
1. Construction and Building Sites
2. Industry and Manufacturing
3. Public and Civil Safety
4. Virtual Reality (VR)
Confined Space
Oxygen Level and harmful gas detection, Entry Permit Procedure,
Ventilation, Protective Equipment, Rescue
Operation, etc.
Guardrail Collapse
Automatic fall experience device to simulate the
danger of not being 100% tied off, leaning out of
guardrails, unstable structure etc.
Excavation Works
Moving of excavators, collision with pedestrian,
blind-spot, routine inspections, digging risks, underground dangers like
cables/piping, etc.
Fall from Height
Risks of uncovered openings, removed
gratings, tagging, missing fall arrest system, correct use of anchorage points,
lifeline, etc.
Safety Harness
Inspection and wearing of full body harness, selection and use of
lanyard, shock absorber and fall arrestor,
orthostatic shock, etc.
Construction Safety Training Modules
Simulate sources of danger during high-risk work on construction sites in a safe training environment and actively involve employees and workers.
This is what the Youngwoo Ind. training modules are aimed at "learning by doing"

Electrical Safety
Earthing, Circuit Breakers, Insulation, Power and Current Consumption, Welding, Cable Burns, Hand Powered Tools,
LOTO, Electric Shock, etc.
Chemical Safety
Chemicals and Hazardous Substances Training, MSDS, Identification, Storage and Labelling, Loading/Unloading, Chemical Spill, etc.
Hoist Crane
Load Limit, Load Balancing, Lifting/Rigging equipment, sling tension simulation, hand injuries,
communication and signaling, etc.

Heavy Machinery
The risk of being stuck, traffic management, pedestrian walkways, speed limits, vehicle checks, blind spot,
banksmen, etc.
Construction Safety Training Modules
The training modules are designed according to your machines, tools or work processes, which the employees or workers will also find at their later actual place of work.
This also increases the learning effect and the ability to remember the accident prevention measures learned.
Experiential Workers Training
Modules in Operation
Overcurrent ExperienceOverloading of a power cable by connecting too many consumers (e.g. multiple sockets)
Safety Harness and Fall ExperienceUnderstanding the importance of wearing correctly a safety harness while working at height
Hand Safety
Pinch points, Nip points, Sheer points hazards,
hand tool demonstration good/bad example, finger
cut simulation, safety gloves, etc.

Emergency Response, Stress Prevention, Stroke, Heart attack, Heat Stress,
Nutrition, etc.
Scaffolding
Foundation, Scaffold Footing / Baseplate, Fully
planked, Safe Access, Guardrails, Mid rails and
Toe boards, Netting / Fall Object Protection, etc.
Ladder Safety
3 points of contact, wrong use of ladders,
overhead works / electricity works, tools bags, collapse of ladder
experience etc.
Manual Handling
Correct manual handling technique, workplace
design, anatomy of the back, risk reduction
measures, supporting tools, etc.
Construction Safety Training Modules
Internal safety instructions such as work permit procedures, risk assessment or occupational safety analysis, lock-out tag-out procedures, but also findings from previous accidents should be integrated into the training to make the training as realistic as possible.
Those who work safely will live to see another day. The Safety Training Center located in front of the construction site precisely encompasses this message and all personnel get trained before they allowed to enter the site.
Safety is always a top priority for our clients – not just for their employees but for all sub-contractors working with them.

Specialized in Safety Simulators & Training
Back-Up
The product range in the area of Practical Safety Training currently comprises more than 300 different modules and technologies. Depending on the equipment, the modules can be combined with Virtual Reality (VR) elements to
enhance the training effect or risk perception.
The combination of theoretical training with practical safety exercises makes the difference!

Civil Safety Training Modules
The training modules provide a unique safety training for families or the general public to improve risk perception, reduce panic in the event of a disaster and take the right measures in emergencies. By being better prepared for emergency situations, you can effectively
help yourself and others with less panic. Public Safety Training Center’s managed by the government using this concept.
Virtual Reality is the perfect solution for the simulation of dangerous scenarios that cannot be simulated with training modules without danger. In an animated environment that is realistic for the future workplace, employees
learn to recognize dangers and to apply the appropriate control measures as defined in the risk assessment and safety instructions.
