Winter Uniform
With the colder weather upon us, I’d like to remind parents of the importance of sending their sons to school in appropriate win-ter uniform. We encourage school uniform to promote a sense of belonging. Seeing the school in uniform is a positive experience for visi-tors and helps build pride. The Uniform Shop, open on Thursdays provides all uni-form needs, except shoes which need to be purchased from a shoe retailer.

RBHC Parents & Citizens’ Association WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE RBHS P&C DOES? These are the objectives of P&C Associations and how we go about meeting them at RBHS:
Objective: What we do at meetings: Promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close cooperation.
At our meetings you have opportunities to meet teachers, as we regularly invite teachers to our meetings to tell us about initiatives they are progressing and what and how they are teaching. We also build our school community by getting to know other parents at the school through planning and holding events.
Assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.
We discuss and plan fundraising ideas so that we can directly fund facilities and equipment We raise and discuss initiatives around student recreation and welfare we would like to see introduced at our school and discuss any issues of concern
Encourage parent and community participation in curriculum and other education issues.
We have the opportunity to discuss education issues with the School Principal and to provide input into the School Plan.
We prepare a P&C Plan each year setting the details of what we want to achieve.
COME ALONG AND GET INVOLVED – HAVE A SAY IN YOUR SCHOOL!
Our next meeting is Tuesday 16th June 7:30 pm in the Staff Common Room. All Welcome
This month we will be finalising our P&C plan and establishing subcommittees to work on specific project areas this year.
We also have presentations by Jenny Harold, Head Teacher Administration on the use of new technologies in the school and David Foster, the new Head Teacher English.
Come along, hear about what is happening at RBHS, meet some other parents and get involved in your son’s school.
