Accommodates standard Gas Lift Valves without the need to cut the tubing
The Caledyne Coil Tubing Clamp on Gas Lift Mandrel is used to install standard Gas Lift Valves on Coil Tubing without the requirement to cut the tubing.
The CTGLM utilises a valve housing that is clamped against the coil tubing. A communication hole is drilled into the coil tubing. A seal insert is assembled into the valve housing which is then clamped against the coil tubing. This compresses the seal insert against the tubing creating a metal to metal seal. Upper and lower bumper subs provide the mechanical connection to the tubing, locking axial and rotation movement and protecting the valve housing. Locking washers are used to ensure the torque bolts cannot back off.
