Steve  Tyink  Vice  President,  Business  Innovation  Miron  Construction  Co,  Inc.      Honored  as  Wisconsin’s  #1  Service  Business  of  the  Year,  and  appearing  on  Time  Magazine  as  Retail  facility  of  the  Year,  Steve  Tyink  is  Vice  President  of  Business  Innovation  for  Miron  Construction  Co.  Inc.,  one  of  the  Country’s  largest  general  contractors.  While  with  Miron,  he  has  assisted  in  the  creation  of  

thought  leading,  innovative  customer  experiences  within  many  industries  including  private  club,  financial,  health  care,  manufacturing,  commercial  office,  education,  and  entertainment.  He  is  most  widely  known  for  his  work  with  Experience-­‐Based  Design  methodologies.    Prior  to  his  work  in  the  construction  field,  Steve  was  the  founder  of  ‘Attach’,  a  nationally  recognized  industrial  design  firm.  There  he  pioneered  the  concept  of  experienced-­‐based  design  solutions  for  some  of  America’s  leading  companies  including  Porsche,  Bentley  Motors,  US  Oil,  Merrill  Lynch,  and  the  Mayo  Clinic.  He  helped  to  pioneer  the  Saturn  Automotive  brand,  serving  as  Vice  President  of  Wisconsin  Saturn  Operations.  While  with  Saturn,  his  stores  captured  over  31%  market  share  while  the  national  average  was  5.6%.      Steve  spent  14  years  in  the  private  club  sector  as  the  General  Manager  for  Mission  CC,  Mt.  Pleasant  CC  and  Northshore  Golf  Club.  There  he  conceptualized  and  created  the  overall  strategy  of  the  ‘Guest  Forever’  culture.  This  established  industry-­‐leading  service  experiences  recognized  in  Dr.  Len  Berry’s  award  winning  book,  “Discovering  the  Soul  of  Service.”      Keynote  speaker  for  more  than  80  national  conferences,  more  than  60  articles  and  book  chapters  have  been  published  featuring  the  vision,  leadership  strategies,  and  innovation  practices  of  Tyink  and  his  teams.  Among  these  publications  include  his  co-­‐authored  book,  Monkey  Business  (now  published  in  6  languages),  Jim  Sullivan’s  Mind  Your  Own  Business,  and  Scott  Gross’s  Outrageous  Service.
