ACCESSING STUDENT REGISTRATION TOOLS
1. Log in to My Tri-C Space
2. Select Registration Tab
3. Select an Action on the page:
Course Search,
Register for a Class,
View Schedule,
Account Status or

VIEW YOUR ACCOUNT STATUS
1. Select Account Status from My Tri-C Space
2. Select a Term
3. The registration status screen will display:
Your student status
Your academic standing
Any holds which may prevent registration
Any course overrides that have been approved
Your primary curriculum
NOTE:
IF you have any holds on your account, you may be required to speak to an Enrollment Center Specialist, a Counselor or a Dean depending on the hold.
IF your curriculum details are incorrect, you will be required to submit a change of major request.

BROWSE COURSES
1. Select Course Search from My Tri-C Space
2. Select a Term
3. Enter your search criteria and Click Search

4. Review Results
NOTE:
Students are not able to register from browse courses. Student MUST CLICK the Register for Classes link on My Tri-C Space in order
to select courses.
IF a course is FULL it will be indicated in the Status Column.

REGISTRATION – ACTION ITEMS
1. Select Register for Classes from My Tri-C Space.
OR
2. Click Register
3. If you have an Action Item, the below message will appear. Click Continue.
4. Select the Action Item on the Left. If you have multiple Action Items, they will show on the left.

5. Acknowledge the selected Action Item on the Right. Click Save. Follow steps 4-5 for all other action items.
6. When all Action Items have been acknowledged, the progress bar will turn GREEN and you can Click Continue to go back to Registration.
HELPFUL TIPS:
You will not be able to register until ALL Action
Items have been acknowledged/answered.
Unacknowledged/unanswered Items will say
Pending

REGISTRATION – ACTION ITEMS (FROM A MOBILE DEVICE)
1. Select Register for Classes from My Tri-C Space.

2. Click Register
3. If you have an Action Item, the below message will appear. Click Continue.

4. Select Return to the List to see your action items.
5. Select the Action Item, Acknowledge/Answer and Click Save.

6. Click Return to the List at the bottom of the page to review all other
Action Items OR Click Return/Continue to go back to Registration.

4. Select Add to add a course to your CART
5. Complete Steps 3 and 4 until schedule is complete.

6. Click Submit to finalize your schedule.
NOTE: Course status will change to Registered when registration completes successfully.

7. Select Payment Option
HELPFUL TIPS: Note: To avoid being dropped from your courses, you must be ready to make a payment at the time of registration.
Pay Now – pay in person or online
Set Up Payment Plan – select if opting to set up payment plan online
Other Payment Options - select if using 529, tuition vouchers, etc, to pay
Financial Aid – select if application is completed and submitted.

REGISTRATION – REGISTER FROM ACADEMIC PLAN
1. Within Registration, Select a Term
2. Click of the Plans tab (You must have an Active & Locked Plan in Degree Works in order to register from your Plan). Select “View Sections” to see all available course offerings.
3. Click “Add” to add the course to your cart.

4. Select “Return to Plan” and follow the same steps for any additional courses on your plan.

REGISTRATION – VIEW LINKED
Courses, such as Chemistry or Biology, that require both a Lecture and Lab can be added to your cart simultaneously using the View Linked Option.
5. Within Registration, Select a Term
6. Enter your search criteria and Click Search
7. From the results, Select “View Linked” to review linked Lectures/Labs

8. Select Add All to add both the Lecture and Lab to CART and then Click Submit to Finalize.

1. Within Registration - Select a Term
2. Select Enter CRN Tab
3. Enter CRN
Select +Add Another CRN to add more
4. Click Add to Summary to add to CART and Click Submit to finalize.

REGISTRATION – WAIT LIST
ADD YOURSELF TO A WAITLIST:
1. Select Add to add a course to your CART
2. Select Waitlist from the Action Menu
3. Click Submit to be added.

REMOVE YOURSELF FROM A WAITLIST:
1. Within Registration, Select “Web Drop” from the Action Menu.
2. Click Submit to be removed from the Wait List.
REGISTER FOR A WAITLISTED COURSE:
If you receive an email notification that a seat has become available, you will have 18 hours to register for the class. The deadline will be stated in the email. Note: If the notification is received less than 18 hours before the start of the session,* registration must be completed by midnight before the start date.
1. Within Registration, Select “Web Register” from the Action Menu.
2. Select Submit to Finalize.

3. From your CART, Select “Webdrop” or “Withdraw” from the Action Menu and Click Submit to update.

REGISTRATION – PASS / NO PASS OPTION
1. Within Registration - Select a Term
2. From your CART, Select “Pass / No Pass” option from the Action Menu and Click Submit to update.
Grade options:
Traditional grade – Letter grades A, B, C, D, or F Pass/No Pass - Allows students who want to explore a discipline and/or course to register without the penalty of a grade impacting their grade point average. Important o Some restricted/selective admission program courses require traditional letter grades for their core course requirements. Check the appropriate
program to learn whether or not a course can be taken Pass/No Pass. o Once you have registered for a course and select the Pass/No Pass grade option you cannot convert back to a traditional grade option for that
particular course after the 100% refund period has passed. If you later learn that you need a letter grade for a course that you are registered for or completed using the Pass/No Pass grade option, you will need to retake the course to earn a letter grade.
Up to 12 credits can be taken Pass/No Pass to fulfill degree requirements at Tri-C or to transfer to another college or university as electives. International students and post secondary enrollment option program students are not eligible for this option. Courses taken Pass/No Pass count toward financial aid enrollment requirements.

3. Select Print
4. Select Email
NOTE: Schedules can be emailed / printed from 2 locations – View Schedule Link and within Registration.
Within Registration, Click Schedule and Options tab to Email / Print schedule
