MOHANLALGANJ (UP), Feb 7:Decrying knowledge without
values, Union Home MinisterRajnath Singh today said techni-cal degrees held by youthsbecome meaningless if they getinvolved in terror activities.
In a subtle reference toinstances of computer and ITengineers committing cybercrimes and often indulging in
terrorism, Singh said educationwithout values was doing moreharm than good.
"Today, there are two ideolo-gies. On one hand youths are
bringing laurels to the country,while on the other there arethose possessing technicaldegrees, who are involved in ter-ror activities," he said.
Knowledge was not every-thing and it must have moralvalues attached to it, he saidwhile inaugurating BalramKrishna Academy here.(PTI)
