Types of Doc-Trak Attachments
Direct Attachments
Record Attachment: related to a specific SyteLine record
Window Attachment: related to a specific SyteLine form (all records)
Indirect Attachments
Attachments that are made in one area of SyteLine and displayed in another
Virtual Attachments
File System: Virtual rule that uses a field name variable within the document (file)
name
Database: Virtual rule that uses a custom SQL stored procedure to query SharePoint
database documents

Archive in a Windows file system or a SharePoint database

Doc-Trak will add a padded sequence to the file name if multiple documents are saved
Smart Scanning
Documents are scanned with intelligent path and filenames, specific to each
SyteLine record
Field names are populated with the dynamic data from SyteLine
Scan Rules are set up to store the images to a predefined path and filename
on either a network or SharePoint database
Scanners must be set up through Doc-Trak Scanner Device Profiles
