Smoking is bad
Second hand smoke is bad for kids:http://youtu.be/m9CSPXHrP_E
Lets talk about problems that
affect kids more quickly:
Bad Breath
Chemicals from the cigarettes can stick to places like the teeth, gums, tongue and side of the cheeks. This causes smoker's
breath to form.
LungsLung damage starts with the first
cigarette you smoke. The body can manage for a while but starts giving in
with time. Usually a period of six months to 1 year of heavy smoking is enough to onset lung diseases, usually indicated by the initial symptoms of smoker’s cough.
Smelly Clothes
Even after the cigarette is gone your clothes and hair will have a disguising
smoke smell. There is no point in buying nice clothes if they are always going to
stink.
Yellow Teeth
Smoking can cause rot, decay, and yellowing of the teeth. In many cases the
bone around the teeth can began to deteriorate which causes teeth to fall out.
Sports Performance
Athletes do not smoke because it has negative affects on sports performance.
The effects of smoking on sporting ability includes breathlessness, wheezing, less
stamina, and decreased speed.
Empty Wallets
A pack of cigarettes now costs more than $5 on average—with some states tacking on additional taxes that raise the price
even more. In New York City, local taxes have pushed the cost of a pack to about
$10.
If you smoke a pack a day + $5.00 to buy the pack = In one year, $1,825.00
