Find the best programme for you
A Level – A Levels are British qualifications, accepted by all universities in the UK and recognised in the USA and Australia. This gives you a world of choice. Students typically study three or four subjects with exams at the end of two years. More on page 16.
Foundation – A one-year programme for international students, accredited by Lancaster University, which builds specialist subject knowledge and language skills. It is more focussed than A Levels, making it good preparation for university. More on page 24.
Pre-Foundation – A three-term programme preparing you for a selection of Foundation pathways. Develop your English language and academic skills and complete project work related to your chosen pathway. More on page 30.
1 Year GCSE – This one-year programme prepares you for the Bellerbys Foundation or A Level programme, where you will study for up to six GCSE examinations, including English and Mathematics. More on page 31.
GCSE Pathway Programme – A two or three-year programme where students typically study eight GCSE subjects between the ages of 14 and 16. We recommended subjects that will suit your interests and goals, preparing you for the A Level programme. More on page 32.
Undergraduate Year 1 – A one-year programme – validated by Aston University from September 2017* – for international students, equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. Taught in London, this programme prepares students for the second year of a business-related degree at one of 20+ partner universities. More on page 34.
High School Term – Experience one or two terms of a British education (GCSE or A Level) and earn academic credits towards your studies back home. More on bellerbys.com.

Extra language supportIf you need to develop your English language skills before starting your A Levels, the English Language Preparation Programme is a fast and tailored course focussed on just that. With 25 hours of teaching a week, you can study for one, two or three terms depending on how much you need to improve your English language level.
Prepare for A Levels in OctoberThe 5.5 term A Level, starting in October, gives you an extra one half of a term to prepare for the A Level programme in January. You will study extra English classes, receive extra university guidance and have more time to develop study skills.

And if you choose half-board accommodation you can enjoy meals from around the world in the College cafeteria.
Off-campus accommodationWe offer a range of quality rooms in shared accommodation. Depending on where you are studying and your age, you can choose from shared kitchens and individual studio apartments. All have shared common areas where you can relax with your friends, and some have games rooms and gym facilities.
In my experience it can sometimes be very hard to motivate teenagers to do their school work. Since my son Paul has been at Bellerbys he has been working 8-10 hours a day and has been having fun doing it. That’s incredible.
This is all attributed to the fantastic teachers and staff at Bellerbys and an environment which encourages students to help each other. It’s amazing to see such a change in attitude.
