There is a Gulf between India and Sri Lanka

However, this Gulf is filled with a chain of large under-water rocks lined up as if they were part of a

submerged bridge.

This chain of rocks has been mentioned in the Indian mythology in

form of a bridge built by Lord Ram between India and (then) Lanka
